Add to cart option
Blackwoods offers quick add to cart options so you can save time
Some ways to add to cart are:
- Add from featured products
- Add from Product detail page (PDP)/ Product options(Variants)
- Add from Favourite cart
- Add from order summary page
- Add from re-order reminder
- Add to cart from comparison cart
- Bulk add options: Quick order pad, paste order and Bulk order
Add from featured products
- When browsing through category or brand page, products can be added to cart via featured product banner
- Availability is visible here
Add from Product detail page (PDP)
- Product detail page provides all technical specifications, images etc. to make an informed choice
Bulk add to cart options: from Variant
- Click on product option on Product page which brings all variants together
- Type the quantity against each product needed and click bulk add
Add from Favourite carts
- Products can be added to cart from existing Favourite carts
Add from order summary page
- From the order summary page, you can access previous order details. If you would like to order the same product, it can be done by selecting it and clicking add to cart
Add to cart from order reminder email
- Click on Add to cart from the email. It opens the cart page with the products updated, you will then need to login so your details appear
Add to cart from comparison results
- When products are selected for comparison, the add to cart option is enabled at the comparison chart so you are able to save time and complete your checkout in less steps
Bulk Add to cart options – Upload order
- Download the order form template filet
- Fill the Blackwoods part numbers and quantity. Up to 150 part numbers can be uploaded at a time. Save the file to your local computer
- Upload the file via ‘Browse’ tab and then click on Add to cart
Exporting your cart
On blackwoods.com.au, you can easily export or email your cart.
Should you need the contents of your cart as a reference for approvals or to use as a non-binding quote, you can easily export the products in your cart.
To export your cart, simply:
- Add products to cart
- Click on Export once items are in the cart
- Select export type - cart can be exported as a PDF, RTF (Word file) or CSV (Excel file)
- Save the export file to your local device
Emailing your cart
Alternatively you can email the cart as an attachment (pdf). Simply click on the Email button at the top of your cart.
- Type recipients email address
- Check the I’m not a robot box
- Click submit for an email to be sent instantaneously to the email recipient

Favourite cart
Favourite cart is where you can save your frequently ordered products so you don’t have to remember part numbers or spend time searching for them. It also helps businesses to streamline what you can order online by grouping the products as separate favourite carts making it easier for you and your staff to purchase online.
The following can be done by you,
- Create new Favourite cart
- Amend existing Favourite cart
- You can have up to 50 Favourite carts on your login
- Max 150 product lines in each Favourite cart
- Favourite cart can be renamed, if required
Accessing Favourite cart
- Favourite can be accessed via My Account Menu
- Favourite menu shows the various saved carts with total number of products, when it was last updated and an option to delete the complete cart, if not required
Inside a Favourite cart
- Favourites can be accessed via My Account Menu
- Favourite menu shows the various saved carts with total number of products, when it was last updated and an option to delete the complete cart, if not required
- Delete the complete Favourite carts
- Clear the products in the Favourite cart
- Number of products in the cart
- Select all products to add to cart
- Add to cart
- Product details
- Availability option – hover your mouse to see the count
- Back to viewing all favourite carts
Note:
- You don’t have to select all to add to cart. You can uncheck the products that you don’t want to purchase and add the required items to cart.
- You can add products from multiple favourite carts too.
Create a new Favourite cart
- Favourite cart can be created in 3 ways
- My Accounts menu > Favourites > create a new list (or)
- Create from product detail (or)
- Add products to cart and then save cart as a new favourite cart
1. Create a new Favourite cart from My Account menu
- Hover your mouse over My Account menu, click on Favourites and then click on ‘Create a new list’ tab.

- Add products to cart, click on save cart and then click on create new list if you would like to create a new favourite cart

1. Adding products to existing Favourite cart from Product page
- Search for a product, you can add to Favourites from product page by clicking on ‘Favourites‘
- Select the favourite cart from the pop-up to ensure the product is added to the correct Favourite cart
2. Adding products to existing Favourite cart from Checkout
- Add products to cart and at checkout page, click on save cart
- From the pop-up, click on the Favourite cart you would like to add the products to
- When you go to your Favourites cart, the number of products should have increased
Delete parts from Existing Favourite cart
- Products can be deleted individually by clicking on the red X on each line
- If you need to delete the complete list and add new products to the list, click on Delete list which will wipe out all products in the list
- A pop-up will appear to check about the deletion
Add to cart : Option available from various pages
- After searching the product, add it to cart from the suggestion bar, from a product page etc
- Change the quantity where required and check on the availability for the product
- When multiple products are involved, add them all and once all added, click on view cart from the pop-up message (1) or click on cart symbol on right hand top corner and click on view cart (2)
Shipping method
- Type your delivery address, the address is validated and a drop down list appears, select the correct address from the options shown. If your address doesn’t appear, click on “Try address form’
- No PO Box addresses will be accepted. Please provide a street address as we use courier to deliver your orders
- Leave delivery instructions, if required , there are some predefined instructions and you have the option to add your own too
- If you would prefer to collect your order, from a trade store choose the Click & Collect option
- Choose the state and the branch in the state to ogranisation collection
- The Estimated dispatch date might change based on the branch selected for collection
Checkout – Cart update
- You can change the quantity of the product you wish to purchase
Order confirmation page
- Order success message
- There is an option to registering on blackwoods.com.au after you have finalised your order
Checkout as a registered user
- Enter your user name, password and click on login
- Your profile details will appear immediately
- Purchase order number field is editable. A system default number appears, however if you need to change it to your company PO, it can be edited
Shipping method
- Select the delivery address from existing delivery address in your profile
- Delivery will not be made to a PO Box address
- Choose from the drop down if it is an existing address
- You can add your delivery address at cart, if required
- You can also choose to click and collect from a branch
- Add delivery instruction, where required
- An account option appears when your business has trade credit terms with Blackwoods and also if that option is enabled by your business for you
- A message appears to display if you have enough credit balance on your account
- Credit card option appears for all customer( except those who don’t have that option enabled by their business)
- After choosing the payment method and filling any required details, click on place order to complete the checkout
- All green ticks means all sections are completed and the place order tab will be enabled. If the place order tab is grey, then some mandatory fields are missing
- The price breakdown for your order can be seen here
- If you have a discount coupon code sent via email or available on a promo, type that in at ‘discount code’ tab and click on apply . Only one code can be used at a time
